Presentation:

"How nanoscience may change the world in 2025"

Nanoscience is said to lead to a new industrial revolution, but in my view, the convergence of traditional scientific disciplines is a natural evolution made possible by the advent of atomic-scale characterization, synthesis, and modelling techniques. I will present examples of successful interdisciplinary work, which may have profound impact on areas such as current and future energy technologies and medical treatments.
