Presentation:

"Making Europe a safer, healthier, and more productive place to work"

Every three-and-a-half minutes, somebody in the EU dies from work-related causes. A prevention approach based on risk assessment is the cornerstone of the European approach to occupational safety and health. As our society evolves under the influence of new technology and shifting economic and social conditions, so do our workplaces. This brings new risks which need to be anticipated in order to ensure healthy, productive and sustainable workplaces.
