"Polymeric Nanoconstructs for Targeted Administration of Drugs and Bioactive Agents"
BIOLAB of the University of PISA participates in the FP7 NMP Project 'NANOTHER' (Integration of novel nanoparticle based technology for therapeutics and diagnosis of different types of cancer). BIOLAB contributes with the preparation and characterisation of nanostructured polymeric devices (nanoparticles & nanofibres) for targeted administration of drugs and bioactive agents. The project 'Nanother' will be presented, with a focus on the aspects of manufacturing targeted nanopharmaceuticals and their application potential in healthcare.
