Koorosh Khodabandehloo was appointed Professor of Manufacturing Engineering in 1993 and founded the Advanced Manufacturing and Automation Research Centre in the UK in 1991. In the past three decades he has advanced the state of knowledge in skilled robotics for applications in several industrial sectors, particularly in food. He has brought several robot solutions to commercialisation achieving their first implementation for industrial use leading the way at an international level.
