Sirris

Sirris is the collective centre of the Belgian technological industry. Sirris helps companies in the implementation of technological innovations, enabling them to strengthen their competitive position over the long-term. The Sirris target group is companies from all areas of the Belgian technology industry, large or small, that have a common goal – to stay one step ahead of the competition by investing in technological innovation.

SPW - Service public de Wallonie (SPW)

The SPW is the administration body of the Walloon Government. Its legal organisation in charge of funding applied research for industries, academia and research centres, as well as of related international scientific cooperation now belongs to the Directorate general for Economy, Employment and Research (DGEER or DGO6). Its main objectives are:

  • the promotion of economic return of research projects ;
  • the development and use of novel technologies by promoting collaboration between universities, research centres, higher education centres and enterprises ;
  • the insertion of Walloon scientific and technological potential in the European and international efforts.

The DGO6 is also in charge of co-ordinating the Walloon policy related to international R&D programmes and tools.

EWI (Flemish Government, Department of Economy, Science and Innovation)

EWI is the Department of Economy, Science & Innovation of the Flemish government. EWI's mission is to combine economy, science and innovation for a sustainable, creative and entrepreneurial Flanders and for a better society. The department prepares and evaluates policies on economy, science and innovation and supports the Flemish Minister for Economy, Foreign Policy, Agriculture and Rural Policy and the Flemish Minister for Innovation, Public Investment, Media and Poverty Reduction. The implementation is enthusiastically carried out by different agencies.

Agoria

Agoria is the Belgian federation for the technology industries representing companies active in 13 branches of industry from aerospace and automotive to security & defence. Agoria is the coordinator of the Belgian Manufuture Technology Platform in cooperation with Sirris.
