Trio Presidency of the European Union

Industrial Technologies 2010 is organised by the European Commission and hosted by the Belgian Presidency of the European Union.


Orgalime is the European federation representing the interests at the level of the EU institutions of the European mechanical, electrical, electronic and metal articles industries as a whole. Orgalime’s member federations directly or indirectly represent some 130,000 companies of an industry which employs 11.1 million people.

NMP team

The core objective of the ’Nanosciences, Nanotechnologies, Materials and new Production Technologies (NMP)’ theme is to improve the competitiveness of European industry and generate the knowledge needed to transform it from a resource-intensive to a knowledge-intensive industry.
NMP research also aims to strengthen the competitiveness of European industry by generating ‘step changes’ in a wide range of sectors and implementing decisive knowledge for new applications between different technologies and disciplines. NMP TEAM, which is an FP7 NMP funded project, is about improving the services of the NMP NCP Network through trans-national activities. They aim at an improved NMP NCP service across Europe therefore helping simplify access to FP7 calls, lowering the entry barriers for newcomers, and raising the average quality of submitted proposals through closer collaboration between the NMP NCPs. Its aim is also the normalization of the differences in knowledge and quality of provided services across the NCP Network in Europe and beyond.
For this conference following Belgian NCP's assist in organising the matchmaking event on day 3: IWT and NCP Wallonie.

Enterprise Europe Network

The Enterprise Europe Network is a key instrument in the EU's strategy to boost growth and jobs. Bringing together 570 business support organisations from 45 countries, we help small companies seize the unparalleled business opportunities in the EU Single Market.
For the setup of the matchmaking event on Day 3 of this conference IWT assists as local EEN organisation, with the help op EEN Wallonie.

The Manufuture Technology Platform

The mission of the European Technology Platform Manufuture is to propose, develop and implement a strategy based on Research and Innovation, capable of speeding up the rate of industrial transformation to high-added-value products, processes and services, securing high-skills employment and winning a major share of world Manufacturing output in the future knowledge-driven economy.

NCP Wallonie

National Contact Point for Wallonia is based in the Walloon Business Federation and provides Walloon research actors with a professional support for their European research and innovation project. NCP-Wallonie has developed an approach centred on enterprises (small, middle of big) and research centres needs, as well as a large valuation that allows to offer a proactive support at each step of a project's life : information, setting up, partnerships & partners search, proposal writing, contract negotiation, project implementation…

NCP-Wallonia is an action financed by Walloon Region of Belgium.

NCP Brussels

NCP Brussels is a joint initiative of the Brussels Enterprise Agency (BEA), the Institute for the encouragement of Scientific Research and Innovation of Brussels (ISRIB) and Research In Brussels (RIB), in order to promote in the Brussels Capital Region European funding and partnership opportunities for research and development projects under the 7th Framework Programme of the European Commission (FP7).

NCP Brussels closely collaborates with Enterprise Europe Brussels, a joint initiative between the Brussels Enterprise Agency (BEA) and Brussels Enterprises Commerce and Industry (BECI), that provides in the Brussels Capital Region all the services of the Enterprise Europe Network, the biggest international network that helps small business to make the most of the European marketplace. or


IWT is the government agency for Innovation by Science and Technology in Flanders. We help Flemish companies and research centres in realizing their research and development projects. We offer them financial funding, advice and a network of potential partners in Flanders and abroad. We also support the Flemish Government in its innovation policy.

IWT is in co-operation with the Science and Innovation Administration of the Flemish Community the unique NCP organisation for Flanders.
